You see, we’re all different.
I’m a bit picky about the purses I spend my money on. Lately (like for the last 10 years), I’ve been using a grocery tote. The quality sucks. It broke in less than a year and cost me $300. I’m very stingy. I don’t want to carry around stuff that costs a fortune, I just want it to look like mine!
So I picked a better quality bag this time around, it was very uninspiring, and when I saw the price I hesitated, not that I couldn’t afford it, but I thought $1000+ for a bag was too much of a splurge. Then my husband said to buy one and try it out and see if it doesn’t work, then return it.
When I got the bag I decided not to return it, the quality of the bag was so unexpected, quality leather and stitching that I fell in love with it.
My only complaint is that the bag is a little heavy, but that doesn’t take away from my love for my new bag. The weight of the bag determines the quality of all the materials. As I loaded it with my stuff, it got heavier. I guess I should work on my ‘purse muscles’ to fix this little problem!
Seriously, we all have our pet peeves that make us dislike one bag or another. This bag, however, ticks all of my boxes. I love the style, quality and space …… I love it so much that I will probably buy another one and put it away for when this bag finally ‘dies’ and becomes too worn out to use. It took me 30 years to find this bag. I think it will take me another 30 years to replace it.
